Recap: Stillwater Pioneers vs. Oklahoma City S Storm
There's no place like home for the Stillwater Pioneers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 63-43 margin over Oklahoma City S. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-18.
Several Storm players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Isais Sejour, who scored six points along with two steals. Stephano Farrington was another key contributor, scoring two points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Stillwater now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Oklahoma City S, their loss dropped their record down to 6-16.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stillwater will take on Broken Arrow at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Broken Arrow presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Stillwater in Oklahoma (Broken Arrow is ranked ninth, while Stillwater is ranked 96th). Oklahoma City S will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sunrise Christian Academy Silver at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd.
