Volleyball Recap: Phoenix Military Comes Up Short

Phoenix Military was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Westinghouse Warriors. The Firebirds were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-15.

Phoenix Military's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Westinghouse, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-5-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Phoenix Military will challenge rival Steinmetz College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Westinghouse is set to take on their familiar foe Chicago Sullivan at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
