Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Strasburg). They were the clear victor by a 60-34 margin over the Fort Defiance Indians on Saturday. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Indians are ranked 263rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Strasburg's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Fort Defiance, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Strasburg will finish 2024 at home by hosting Skyline at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Skyline will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Strasburg surely won't give up without a fight. Fort Defiance and Central Woodstock will round out the year against one another at at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Fort Defiance is facing Central Woodstock at the right time seeing as Central Woodstock is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
