Softball Recap: White Plains Takes a Loss

If White Plains was riding high fresh off their 12-0 takedown of Hokes Bluff on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. White Plains fell 6-2 to the Gulf Shores Dolphins on Friday.

White Plains' loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Gulf Shores, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11-1 record this season.

White Plains will be taking part in a tournament against Saraland at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Gulf Shores, they will challenge St. Clair County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
