Legacy had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Bonanza Bengals as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The game was the first time the Longhorns have beaten the Bengals on their court since April 24, 2021.

While Legacy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-22, 25-20.

Among those leading the charge was Mason Lay, who had 16 digs. Those 16 digs gave him a new career-high.

Legacy pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Bonanza, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.
