Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Springfield walked away with it. They enjoyed a cozy 74-55 win over the Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Thunderbirds on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Springfield's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brayden Sturm, who posted 18 points in addition to eight boards and five assists. Brecken Heiling was another key player, putting up 12 points along with five assists and five steals.

Springfield's win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35.1 points. As for Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-15.
