Baseball Game Preview: Smiths Station Panthers vs. Northside Patriots

The Smiths Station Panthers will start their season against the Northside Patriots. First pitch is scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Northside is headed out to face Smiths Station after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. Northside walked away with a 5-2 victory over Brookstone on Friday.

Northside's win bumped their record up to 1-0.

As for Smiths Station, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished on the wrong side of .500 (14-17), but they'll be hoping to turn things around this year.

Everything went Smiths Station's way against Northside in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as Smiths Station made off with a 14-5 victory. Does Smiths Station have another victory up their sleeve, or will Northside turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
