Baseball Recap: Cienega Victorious

Cienega lost to Sunnyside back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Bobcats came out on top against the Blue Devils by a score of 7-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bobcats.

LUTE CHAVEZ made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. CHAVEZ was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
