Stanton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 26th straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 60-59 heartbreaker at the hands of the Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors. On the bright side, the 59- point effort marked the Blue Devils' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Stanton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stanton won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Parker at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blue Devils will be up against the Braves' rather soft defense (which has allowed 53 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they will head out to take on Duval Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
