Soccer Game Preview: Georgetown vs. Aynor

The Georgetown Bulldogs will venture away from home to take on the Aynor Blue Jackets at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Georgetown's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for eight straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Georgetown's offense. They lost 10-0 to Waccamaw on Tuesday.

Aynor played in-conference for the first time on Tuesday and they got just the result they were looking for. They came out on top against Marlboro County by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Jackets.

The victory got Aynor back to even at 3-3. As for Georgetown, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Georgetown suffered a grim 6-1 defeat to Aynor in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Georgetown was down 3-0.
