Baseball Recap: Knight Gets the Win

Knight won the last time they faced Palmdale and things went their way on Friday too. The Hawks came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 9-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

Jordan Estrella was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Nathen Esparza, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Knight's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Palmdale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-13.

Coming up, Knight will be playing at home against Quartz Hill at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Palmdale, they are taking a road trip to face off against Antelope Valley at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Falcons are facing the Antelopes at the right time seeing as the Antelopes are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
