Basketball Recap: Bayfield Takes a Loss

Bayfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt an 81-22 loss at the hands of the Centauri Falcons. The Wolverines were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-7.

Renae Foutz was Bayfield's leading scorer, having posted nine points. Grace Brown held things down on the boards with four rebounds.

Bayfield's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Centauri, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Bayfield and Centauri will both be playing Ignacio the next time they take the court. Bayfield will head out to face Ignacio at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Centauri will head out to face them at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
