With a playoff win on the line, Morgan rose to the challenge on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Union Cougars 3-1. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Lexi Hardman, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with five stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April of 2024.

Morgan was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Union only posted a batting average of .185.

Morgan's record is now 19-6. As for Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-11.

As of now, neither Morgan nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
