Football Game Preview: Richards Bulldogs vs. Edwardsville Tigers + How To Watch

The Richards Bulldogs will take on the Edwardsville Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Richards will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Richards' defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 51-0 win over Evergreen Park. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won five matchups by 27 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Edwardsville ended up a good deal behind De Smet Jesuit on Friday and lost 30-15.

Richards will need to focus on slowing down Dean Williams, one of several Edwardsville players who made an impact when they last played. He rushed for 104 yards, and also threw for 133 yards on ten of 19 attempts. Another player making a difference was Brandon Houston Jr., who rushed for 91 yards on only seven carries.

Edwardsville now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Richards, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.
