Kaufman has gone 6-0 against Ennis recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Kaufman Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Ennis Lions at 5:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Kaufman's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Ennis has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.

It was a proper cat-fight when Kaufman faced off against Midlothian Heritage on Saturday. Kaufman fell just short of Midlothian Heritage by a score of 38-36. While the Lions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Jaguars 16-7 in the first quarter.

Despite their defeat, Kaufman saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Aubre Prox, who posted 19 points and four steals, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Wrenn, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.

Meanwhile, Ennis was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 42-38 to Corsicana.

Ennis' loss dropped their record down to 6-21. As for Kaufman, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-6.

Kaufman strolled past Ennis in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a score of 56-42. Does Kaufman have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ennis turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
