Football Game Preview: Lorain Titans vs. Strongsville Mustangs

The Lorain Titans will challenge the Strongsville Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lorain will be strutting in after a victory while Strongsville will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Lorain turned things around against Shaker Heights on Friday. They managed a 19-14 win over the Red Raiders.

Meanwhile, Strongsville played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 55-21 loss at the hands of Mentor. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 97th, while the Cardinals are ranked 15th).

Strongsville's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-2. As for Lorain, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-5.
