Softball Recap: Forge Christian Extends Home Winning Streak to Four + How To Watch

Forge Christian had won four straight at home, but on Thursday they bumped up to 18-3 to make it five. They walked away with an 11-6 win over the Arvada Bulldogs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Fury also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Devyn Haines spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Rio Beck was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaedence Miller, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

As for Arvada, their loss dropped their record down to 16-4. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this game were averaging 3.8 runs allowed.

On Arvada's side, Alyssa Moreno was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one double. Abby Lopez was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.

Forge Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against Arvada: the pair will be back at it again later today.
