Ballard has gone 8-2 against Seattle Prep recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Beavers will head out on the road to take on the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. The last three games Ballard has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Ballard is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Washington's top teams: Stanwood, who was ranked ninth at the time (Ballard was ranked 13th). The Beavers fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 3-2 on Monday. The Beavers' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Colette Howren spent all 7.1 innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on six hits and racked up 13 Ks.

Seattle Prep came out on top against Holy Names Academy two weeks ago thanks in part to the team's impressive 11-run seventh inning. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 17-3 margin over Holy Names Academy. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with Holy Names Academy: they've now won five in a row.

Ballard's loss dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Seattle Prep, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-10.

Everything went Ballard's way against Seattle Prep in their previous meeting back in March, as Ballard made off with a 16-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Beavers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
