Baseball Recap: Seabreeze Now 8-2 over Last Ten Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Spruce Creek, Seabreeze was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the North Florida Christian Eagles by a score of 9-4.

Rustin Hurley made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hurley was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February.

In other pitching news, Seabreeze got a great performance from Brody Harris as he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits.

Back at the plate, Jacob Imhoff was incredible, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 3-for-4. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high.

Seabreeze was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Seabreeze is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. North Florida Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Seabreeze has already played their next matchup, a 10-0 defeat against Leon on the 19th. As for North Florida Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Florida State University High School on the 20th.
