Volleyball Recap: Grant Comes Up Short

Grant lost against Cadillac back in October of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Vikings. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-12.

Grant's offense was headlined by Gee Lillian and Bouwkamp Payton, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Longcore Emma and her four assists. Finally, Clouser Brianna kept Grant's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Grant's loss dropped their record down to 21-12-3. As for Cadillac, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.

Grant has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Hart on the 11th. As for Cadillac, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Benzie Central on the 11th.
