Recap: Ross Little Giants vs. Clay Eagles
The Ross Little Giants were the 66-53 winner over the Clay Eagles when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Ross fell 50-43 to Clay on Friday. Ross has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ross lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Makai Lee, who scored ten points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Michael Stover, who scored six points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Ross has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for Clay, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ross will take on Southview at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Southview presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Ross in Ohio (Southview is ranked 89th, while Ross is ranked 329th). As for Clay, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bowling Green at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
