Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Velma-Alma). They never let the Apache Warriors get on the board and left with a 13-0 win on Tuesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Comets with their most commanding win of the season.

Velma-Alma has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Apache, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.
