Baseball Recap: Northeast Comes Up Short

Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Highland Park Scots, falling 15-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 20-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.

Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Highland Park, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northeast will take on Southeast at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Highland Park, they will challenge Schlagle on Tuesday. The Scots are facing the Stallions at the right time seeing as the Stallions are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
