Basketball Game Preview: Crimson Cliffs Mustangs vs. Pine View Panthers

Crimson Cliffs hasn't had much luck against Pine View recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Crimson Cliffs Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pine View Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Crimson Cliffs is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Tuesday. They took a 58-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hurricane.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Coco Korella, who posted 14 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayda Alofipo, who had 11 points in addition to five boards and four steals.

Meanwhile, Pine View also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Cedar by a score of 52-42. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Reds recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Pine View's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Crimson Cliffs, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-15.
