Soccer Recap: Burrell Picks Up Second Consecutive Victory

While Burrell's win against North Catholic wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bucs' defense stepped up to hand the Trojans a 1-0 shutout on Monday. Burrell's winning goal came courtesy of Leah Waldsmith.

The victory made it two in a row for Burrell and bumps their season record up to 3-1-1.

Looking ahead, Burrell will take on Knoch at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. North Catholic will be paying especially close attention to the Bucs' game: after the Bucs face off against Winchester Thurston, they'll take on North Catholic again at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th.
