Volleyball Recap: Algona Comes Up Short

Algona suffered their biggest loss since October 24, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against the Humboldt Wildcats, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Algona's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Humboldt, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Looking ahead, Algona will square off against Storm Lake at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Humboldt has already played their next matchup (against Johnston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
