Christian Brothers lost to Overton back in November of 2019, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Christian Brothers Purple Wave came out on top against the Overton Wolverines by a score of 52-40. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Purple Wave.

Christian Brothers has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Overton, they moved to 5-1 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christian Brothers will take on PURE Academy in a holiday battle at on Saturday. Overton will take on North Panola in a holiday battle at at 9:00 p.m. on Friday.
