Volleyball Recap: Johnston Dragons vs. North Polk Comets
Johnston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the North Polk Comets. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Dragons of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture two weeks ago.
Johnston's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for North Polk, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season.
Johnston wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Indianola on the 5th. As for North Polk, they will challenge Ballard at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
