Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Morgantown Christian Academy). They took down Parkersburg Christian 57-40 on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Mustangs considering their 12-point performance the game before.

Katlyn Wood and Ella Allen certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Wood dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds, while Allen posted seven points and four steals. Wood continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last five games she's played.

Morgantown Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Parkersburg Christian, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Morgantown Christian Academy will venture away from home to take on Victory Baptist Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Victory Baptist Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Morgantown Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Parkersburg Christian, they will take on Ohio Valley Christian at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
