Claremont dropped down to 9-3 on Wednesday, ending the team's five-game streak of wins. The matchup between the Wolfpack and the Bonita Bearcats didn't end well, with the Wolfpack falling 27-13. Having soared to a lofty 61 points in the game before, the Wolfpack couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Bonita, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.8 points on average over those games.

A big part of Bonita's win came down to the chemistry between Tressa Beatty and her top target Kody McKinney. Beatty threw for 233 yards and three touchdowns while McKinney picked up 133 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. That's the most passing yards Beatty has posted since back in October of 2024.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Claremont will challenge rival Glendora at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
