Oswego and Plainfield Central are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2017, but not for long. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers challenge the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Oswego came up short against Christ the King and fell 63-50. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Plainfield Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 67-24 loss at the hands of Joliet West. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 580th, while the Tigers are ranked 67th).

Oswego's loss dropped their record down to 11-19. As for Plainfield Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-27.

Everything came up roses for Oswego against Plainfield Central in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured a 59-29 win. Will Oswego repeat their success, or does Plainfield Central have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
