            Softball Recap: River Road Wildcats vs. Randall Raiders        
        
		
        
        
            Randall hit River Road with a five-run first inning  on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wildcats fell  8-3 to the Raiders. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost three in a row.

River Road's loss dropped their record down to 23-10. As for Randall, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 25-10.

The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed three  runs per game  this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Randall, they will look to defend their home field  on Thursday against Monahans  at 5:00  p.m. The timing is sure in the Raiders' favor as the  squad sits on three straight wins at home while the Loboes have been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
