On Thursday Kylan Brunn pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits, which was good enough to also set a new career-high in strikeouts. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fourth in a row with less than one earned run. For the year, he has an ERA of 1.91 over 11 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Brunn and Santa Fe Christian will challenge La Jolla Country Day at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
