Softball Recap: Fairfax HomeSchool Comes Up Short

The Fairfax HomeSchool Hawks came up short against Tennessee Heat on Wednesday and fell 7-4. That's two games in a row now that the Hawks have lost by exactly three runs.

Madelyn Shaw made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. London Frye was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

Fairfax HomeSchool has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-4 record this season. As for Tennessee Heat, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.

Fairfax HomeSchool wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 12-2 win against Greenville H on the 8th. Tennessee Heat does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
