Volleyball Game Preview: St. Paul Wildcats vs. Ord Chanticleers

St. Paul has gone a perfect 10-0 against Ord recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Wildcats will take on the Chanticleers in a tournament on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While St. Paul's win against Doniphan-Trumbull wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats skirted past the Cardinals 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since September 19th.

St. Paul took Doniphan-Trumbull into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, 19-25, 23-25, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Ord had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Centurions by a score of 3-1.

Ord's win bumped their record up to 11-16. As for St. Paul, their victory bumped their record up to 19-9.

St. Paul was able to grind out a solid win over Ord when the teams last played back in September, winning 3-1. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Chanticleers' Payton Bruha, who had 23 digs and one assist.
