While Sheridan put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Crooksville. The Generals blew past the Ceramics 14-0. The win continues a trend for the Generals in their matchups with the Ceramics: they've now won seven in a row.

Sheridan got a great performance from Tyler Turnes as he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Turnes has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Logan Hupp was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Connor Roshon, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Sheridan's record is now 7-1. As for Crooksville, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Sheridan will welcome Utica at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Crooksville, they will head out to take on Trimble at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
