Baseball Recap: Northridge Comes Up Short

Northridge suffered their biggest loss since March 17th on Monday. They came up short against the Viewmont Vikings, falling 15-5. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Vikings earlier this season, when they won 6-3.

Jon Olsen made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. Jace Whitear also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Northridge's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Viewmont, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Northridge is set to square off against their familiar foe Bountiful at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Viewmont will take on rival Clearfield at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
