Baseball Recap: Madelia Drops Season-High Score on Martin County West

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Madelia). They blew past the Martin County West Mavericks 14-3 on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Blackhawks in their matchups with the Mavericks: they've now won five in a row.

Madelia pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Martin County West, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
