The Longhorns haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
The team relied heavily on Persephone Soria, who went 4-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Leslie Sarduy was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
Dobie hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in 12 consecutive contests.
The victory was the third in a row for Clear Springs, bringing their record up to 19-6. As for Dobie, their win bumped their record up to 18-11.
Wednesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Clear Springs hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .369. However, it's not like Dobie struggles in that department as they've averaged .369. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
