Baseball Game Preview: Sheldon Huskies vs. Burbank Titans

The Sheldon Huskies will challenge the Burbank Titans at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Sheldon is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Wednesday. They never let West Campus onto the board and left with a 12-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Huskies have posted since April 1, 2024.

Javier Avalos was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3. What's more, he also posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Justin Solari, who scored two runs and stole four bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Sheldon always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as West Campus only posted an OBP of .211.

Meanwhile, Burbank hadn't done well against Kennedy recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Burbank put the hurt on Kennedy with a sharp 6-0 win.

Kevin Duplessis and Kevion Duplessis did most of the damage at the plate: Kevin scored three runs and stole four bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances, while Kevion scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
