Baseball Recap: L'Anse Creuse North Takes a Loss

L'Anse Creuse North lost against St. Clair last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Crusaders took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saints. The Crusaders just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

L'Anse Creuse North saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wesley Zeiman, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI. James Warnack also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

L'Anse Creuse North's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for St. Clair, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.

While L'Anse Creuse North had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
