Softball Recap: Philadelphia Performing Arts Comes Up Short

Philadelphia Performing Arts was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 15-14 heartbreaker at the hands of Carver High School of Engineering & Science. The Knight were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Carver High School of Engineering & Science apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2016.

Philadelphia Performing Arts now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Carver High School of Engineering & Science, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0-1.

Looking ahead, Philadelphia Performing Arts will head out on the road to face off against Northeast at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carver High School of Engineering & Science, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 15-14 victory against String Theory on the 27th.
