Recap: Riverside Generals vs. Fleming Island Golden Eagles
Even though the Fleming Island Golden Eagles scored an imposing 70 points on Monday, the Riverside Generals still came out on top. Riverside managed a 74-70 victory over Fleming Island. That's another feather in the cap for Riverside, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Fleming Island's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Carson Crawford, who scored 22 points along with nine rebounds and two blocks, and George Hamm who scored 17 points along with two steals. Crawford hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for eight straight games. Bryce Robinson was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two steals.
Riverside has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Fleming Island, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverside will take on Englewood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Englewood has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Fleming Island, they will be playing at home against Baker County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
