Soccer Game Preview: Palm Beach Central vs. Leonard

Palm Beach Central is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Martin County on Tuesday. Palm Beach Central fell just short of Martin County by a score of 3-2. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Leonard entered their tilt with Forest Hill back in December of 2024 with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They never let the Falcons onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Given the Lancers' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 126th, while the Falcons are ranked 285th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Leonard pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those four games. As for Palm Beach Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Palm Beach Central might still be hurting after the 5-1 loss they got from Leonard in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Palm Beach Central was down 3-0.
