Basketball Recap: Round Lake Takes a Loss

Round Lake lost against Antioch back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Round Lake Panthers were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 32-31 to the Antioch Sequoits. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Antioch to victory were Heidi Rathmann and Scarlett Carroll. Rathmann posted 11 points, while Carroll scored 11 points.

Round Lake's loss dropped their record down to 9-22. As for Antioch, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-12 record this season.

Round Lake didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 41-32 win against Zion-Benton on the 15th. As for Antioch, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 59-35 victory against Northside on the 17th.
