Basketball Game Preview: Waterville Panthers vs. Belfast Lions

Waterville and Belfast are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2018, but not for long. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Waterville Panthers face off against the Belfast Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Waterville comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

On Friday, Waterville was beaten by Mount View 62-17. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 130th, while the Mustangs are ranked 50th).

Meanwhile, Belfast ended up a good deal behind Medomak Valley on Monday and lost 48-34.
