Basketball Recap: Boerum Hill Comes Up Short

Boerum Hill lost against Medgar Evers College Prep back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Boerum Hill were outmatched by Medgar Evers College Prep and fell 81-7. While losing is never fun, Boerum Hill can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 618th, while Medgar Evers College Prep is ranked 132nd).

This is the second loss in a row for Boerum Hill and nudges their season record down to 1-7. As for Medgar Evers College Prep, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boerum Hill will square off against Prospect Heights at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Medgar Evers College Prep, they are taking a road trip to square off against Brooklyn Community Arts & Media at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Medgar Evers College Prep's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
