Softball Preview: Fern Creek Tigers vs. Ohio County Eagles
The Fern Creek Tigers will head out to challenge the Ohio County Eagles at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.
Fern Creek came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 13-0 to Larue County. The match marked the first time this year in which the Tigers were not able to get on the board.
Meanwhile, Ohio County had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Wildcats. While the Eagles didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
