Carson Lindau commands the offense for Wildcats win

Recap: Axtell Wildcats vs. Arapahoe Warriors

The Axtell Wildcats won the last time they faced the Arapahoe Warriors, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Axtell enjoyed a cozy 62-48 victory over Arapahoe.

Axtell's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carson Lindau led the charge by scoring 26 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lindau has scored all season. Ethan Morgan was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds.

Arapahoe's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was William Cacy, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Trenton Roskop, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Axtell's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-5. As for Arapahoe, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-7.

Axtell will take on Wilcox-Hildreth at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Wilcox-Hildreth is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Arapahoe, they will head out on the road to face off against Southern Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nebraska (Southern Valley is ranked 154th, while Arapahoe is ranked 152nd).
