Football Recap: Carroll Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Carroll's offense. They were outmatched by the Andalusia Bulldogs and fell 41-0. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 229th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 61st).

Holden Pawlik threw for 131 yards on 11 of 23 attempts. Alex McClendon was his top target, picking up 61 receiving yards.

Zerrick Jones produced another solid effort rushing for 154 yards and four TDs on only seven carries, while also catching one score for Andalusia. Another player making a difference was Jordyn Skanes, who gained 109 total yards.

Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Andalusia, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Carroll wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 41-8 defeat against Headland on the 24th. As for Andalusia, they have also already played their next matchup, a 23-17 loss against Montgomery Catholic on the 24th.
